MTI signs 22nd agreement for high filler technology

The specialty minerals company said that it has a number of similar deals in the pipeline for its Fulfill technology, which it seeks to reduce paper mills’ dependency on natural fibre and reduce costs.

NYSE-listed Mineral Technologies Inc. (MTI) announced a second agreement with an unnamed paper producer to supply its Fulfill E-325 high-filler technology.

MTI said that the technology will provide "significant cost savings" in reduced fibre consumption by increasing PCC filler usage by 20%.
