LWP fly ash proppant pilot plant back on track

Despite a temporary delay caused by the need to reline the sintering kiln at LWP’s pilot scale proppant production plant in Queensland, the company is now set to reheat the kiln and begin production of its fly ash proppants at the end of September, which LWP says have the potential to change the face of the industry owing to cost and supply advantages.

LWP Technologies Ltd has overcome temporary set-backs at its pilot scale proppant manufacturing facility in Queensland, Australia by completing a relining of its sintering kiln at Clontarf.
