Fujian Changting upgrades rare earth fluorescent powder factory

China has less of a footing in the phosphate-based fluorescent powders market than its international competitors, but Fujian Changting hopes to challenge this situation with automated equipment upgrades at its production facility.

Fujian Changting Golden Dragon Rare Earth Co. Ltd, a subsidiary of Xiamen Tungsten, has upgraded its fluorescent powder factory by inserting automated equipment.

Reducing the number of workers at the factory will bring down labour costs and raise production efficiency, according to the Western Fujian Daily.
