West Africa Ponta Chugue port gives the Farim phosphate project access to international markets.

The port of Ponta Chugue gives the Guinea Bissau Farim phosphate project, which is being developed by Canada-listed miner GB Minerals, a route to export the fertiliser mineral, adding to the attractiveness of the mine.
