Additional divestitures proposed for Halliburton acquisition of Baker Hughes

As two of the largest oilfield services providers, Halliburton's acquisition of Baker Hughes has raised competition questions. The companies have proposed to sell off additional businesses, however the move has yet to be accepted by any competition authority.

Oilfield services providers Halliburton Co. and Baker Hughes Inc. will both put up further businesses for sale in addition to previously announced divestitures connected with Halliburton’s pending acquisition of Baker Hughes.
