Odisha to kick start mineral auction process in November

The mineral-rich state, located in the east of India, is preparing to implement the first phase of a mine auction in order to meet plans unveiled by the Modi government earlier this year to revamp the country’s mining legislation.
The Odisha government is aiming to put 12
mineral blocks to auction in November in accordance with
measures set out in the country’s new mining
law.
According to a report by Business Standard, Odisha will
auction manganese ore, dolomite and limestone blocks. It will
