Mexichem sees 1% revenue growth to $1.4bn

Even though the company saw an increase in profits, it faced substantial headwinds from key currencies, particularly those in Latin America and Europe, against the US dollar. As well as this, its fluor business group, which accounted for 55% of Q3 revenues, reported a slight dip in sales due to soft demand for metallurgical grade fluorspar.

Vertically integrated fluorochemical producer Mexichem SAB de CV has reported a 1% increase in revenues to $1.4bn for the third quarter of 2015, compared to the same quarter last year, owing to a combination of organic growth and the positive contribution of its recent acquisitions of Germany-based PVC producer, Vestolit, and US high density...
