Astron awards $135m engineering contract to Chinese company for Australian minsands

A subsidiary of Astron Corporation has hired a Chinese engineering specialist to help with equipment procurement and funding for the first phase of its mineral sands development in Australia.

ASX-listed Astron Corporation Ltd’s subsidiary, Donald Mineral Sands Pty Ltd, has entered into a framework agreement with China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC) to help develop its mineral sands project located 300km northwest of Melbourne, Australia.
