China agreements to support Mongolian fluorspar development

Slowing economic growth in China has significantly impacted Mongolia’s commodities exports this year. However, new mining co-operation agreements signed during the China-Mongolia Expo last week are likely to subsidise the country’s mining growth.

The mineral rich nation of Mongolia, which generates the majority of its revenues from commodities exports, has signed eight new cooperation agreements for mineral-resource exploration with China in an effort to boost its sagging economy.
