Grapchina 2015: Study predicts Chinese graphene industry to be worth $149m by 2020

New graphene products ranging from self-heating clothing to graphene batteries were exhibited at the Grapchina in Qingdao last week, with industry participants predicting that the market is likely to evolve over the next 10 years with different applications accounting for the majority of graphene consumed.

China’s graphene market is expected to be worth $149m by the end of the decade, up from $12.5m in 2013, according to a newly released report on the sector.
