JPMC reports 176% rise in Q3 net profit

The phosphate company has embarked on a strategy of improving its product mix and expanding its operations. This has helped JPMC to increase its Q3 2015 profit. The news follows hot on the heels of its recent announcement by JPMC that it has opened a phosphoric acid plant in Jordan with JV partner Indian Farmers Fertilizer Cooperative.

The Jordan Phosphate Mines Co. (JPMC) reported a net profit of Jordanian dinar (JD) 24.1m ($33.34m*) for the quarter ended 30 September, compared to JD 8.7m ($12.26m) the same period the prior year, helped by expanding its field of operations and improved sales.
