Israel moves to burden mining companies with Sheshinski II tax proposals

Should the taxes move past the final hurdle in mid-November, Israel Chemicals could see its tax bill rise substantially.

Israel’s state legislature finance committee has approved the recommendations of the Sheshinski Committee II, which could see Israel Chemicals Ltd (ICL) incur much higher taxes.
