Albemarle predicts double digit EBITDA growth in lithium in 2016

The speciality chemicals producer said it expects demand across a number of lithium applications, not just Li-ion batteries, to contribute to the increase.

Albemarle expects to see a "double digit" increase in its EBITDA* levels for lithium next year, with price increases in battery grade lithium and synergies across various other applications to push up profitability in the segment.
