EuroChem reports revenue decline as weak fertiliser prices overshadow volume growth

While EuroChem's outlook remains optimistic, with hopes that increased demand in phosphate and capacity cuts in potash will help to stabilise prices, the company said it could not rule out further price erosion.

Global agrochemical producer EuroChem Group AG reported a 6% revenue decline to $1.12m for Q3 2015 as weak product prices offset slight volume growth.

Gross profit fell 1% to $474m down from $480m the previous year.

EBITDA* meanwhile increased 20% year-on-year (y-o-y) to $438, reflecting the effects of currency...
