Chemours praises UN decision for 2016 HFC amendment

Titanium dioxide and fluorochemicals producer Chemours has praised the UN's decision to work towards an HFC amendment in 2016. The company itself has launched its low GWP Opteon refrigerants, which it believes can help to eliminate around 300m tonnes CO2 equivalent by 2025.
