India’s APMDC prepares to float new barite tender

The contracts awarded in the last auction held in May this year are set to expire on 30 November and APMDC is currently considering the terms of a fresh tender, which is expected to offer rights to mine and sell barite on a FOB India basis for a period of 12 months.

India’s Andhra Pradesh Mining Development Corp. (APMDC) is gearing up to launch a new tender for barite (barytes) mining and exports, as the initial six month tenure of the last round of auctions draws to a close.
