Vale puts Kronau potash project on hold again

Work at the Canadian site has once again been delayed as a result of weak market conditions in agriminerals and difficulty with financing the project.

Brazilian mining company Vale SA has once again put its Kronau potash mine in Saskatoon, Canada on hold, despite completing a feasibility study in October which demonstrated "a promising potash resource".

The company announced the decision to suspend work at the site in a public letter to the local community...
