Iofina hit by cut to brine injections following Oklahoma earthquake

A decision by Oklahoma state authorities to reduce salt water injections by oil and gas producers will reduce Iofina’s capacity to produce iodine. However, the company remains adamant that its H2 2015 targets will be met.

London-listed iodine producer Iofina Plc has said that its production capacity will be affected by regulation imposed by authorities in the US state of Oklahoma, following an earthquake late last week.
