US Congress gives green light to new space mining bill

A new bill passed by the US Congress has allowed space mining companies the right to mineral deposits in space — home to a variety of resources including rare earths and olivine.
The US Congress has approved legislation
to enable companies to own resources that are extracted from
asteroids.
The new Space Act of 2015 requires approval from the House
of Representatives before moving on to President Obama. It will
