Venezuela’s CSV holds meeting to discuss domestic refractories capacity

The Latin American country is struggling to produce refractories to meet the demand of its domestic steel industry. Sector experts have met to discuss the challenge of boosting refractories production.

Corporacion Siderurgica de Venezuela (CSV), a state-owned Venezuelan holding company, has held a meeting with the country’s refractories producers and steel manufacturers, to discuss Venezuela’s capacity to produce refractories to meet domestic demand in a number of sectors, including the steel market.
