Industrial minerals producers commit to cut emissions as Paris climate talks commence

The latest round of global discussions on climate change, dubbed COP (Conference of Parties) 21, begins today in Paris. It will finish on 11 December. Environmental campaigners want heads of state to agree on emissions cuts and industrial minerals producers have pledge to go green by improving their operations.
Industrial mineral producers have pledged
to continue their environmental commitments and slash their
carbon footprints in light of the United Nations Conference on
Climate Change — COP21 — starting
today in Paris.
A number of companies including Solvay, Imerys and Saint
Gobain, have implemented targeted measures to reduce emissions
