Orbite receives notice of allowance for red mud monetisation patent in Australia

The Canadian company is expanding its intellectual property portfolio in Australia to develop its chloride technology. The innovation can transform red mud and fly ash into a high value mineral feedstock by extracting all the valuable constituents, including rare earths and alumina.

TSX-listed Orbite Technologies Inc. has been advised by IP Australia, the Australian government agency that administers intellectual property rights, that its patent application for its waste monetisation technology, which enables extraction of red mud, fly ash and aluminous clay, has been deemed allowable.
