Dutch consortium to invest millions into sustainable raw material supply

The Advanced Research Centre Chemical Building Blocks Consortium plans to invest €11m a year into addressing sustainable demand for energy and materials in the future as urbanisation increases and the global population is expected to reach 9bn by 2050.

A Dutch consortium, which includes AkzoNobel and BASF as group members, plans to establish a national research centre to tackle sustainable demand for energy and materials in the future.
