Graphite 2015: Oil price slump hits synthetic graphite market hard

With oil prices sinking to $37/barrel this week, synthetic graphite is among the secondary markets feeling the knock-on effects. The Li-ion battery market, meanwhile, remains the focal point for projected demand growth.

The synthetic graphite market is one of a number of industries impacted by the falling oil price, which has hit its lowest level for almost seven years.
