Rail project to expand Oman’s Port of Salalah

A plan to replace trucks with trains and increase storage and handling capacity at the port should boost exports of Omani gypsum and limestone.

Oman’s Port of Salalah is working with Oman Rail to establish a train network that will increase exports of industrial minerals from the Middle Eastern sultanate.
