ABB launches new system to increase grinding roller duration in mining

HPGR technology is used in a number of mineral sectors such as limestone and in hard rock industries. However rollers are prone to different rates of wear, resulting in a premature replacement – an issue that ABB has sought to address.

Automation technology group ABB has launched a new control system to improve high-pressure grinding roller (HPGR) performance and duration in mining.
