Iofina reassures shareholders as share price tumbles

Iodine production levels have been hit by anti-earthquake measures which have curtailed salt water injections by Iofina’s oil and gas producing partners, in turn affecting brine flow for iodine production. Despite this, the company still hopes to reach H2 targets.

Iodine producer Iofina Plc has seen its share price drop more than 50% over the past month, following moves by the Oklahoma Corporation Commission (OCC) to stem seismic activity.
