Tronox and Huntsman join Chemours in TiO2 price hike

Three of the world’s largest titanium trioxide producers have now increased prices for 2016 after a market rebound failed to materialise.

US-based titanium dioxide (TiO2) producers Tronox Ltd and Huntsman Corp. have followed market leader, The Chemours Co., in raising the selling price of the pigment chemical for 2016, after supply and demand forces failed to deliver a recovery in the market.
