Belarus ups potash export duties by 22%

A decline in the value of the Belarussian currency will have reduced Belaruskali’s cost of production, likely offsetting the rise in export duties, which were reinstated only in 2015.

Belarus is to increase potash export duties by €10/tonne ($10.86/tonne*), or 22%, to €55/tonne from 1 January 2016.
