Oman’s Port of Duqm to start mineral shipments with dolomite in February 2016

The Arabian Sea port on Oman’s central-eastern coast is expected to be a gateway for shipments of locally mined minerals such as dolomite, gypsum and limestone to reach export markets like India.

Oman’s Port of Duqm plans to start exporting minerals for the first time in February next year, a senior port official of the facility has told the Muscat-based Times of Oman.
