AirAsia bans Li-ion battery-powered transportation devices on flights

Owing to the fire hazard Li-ion batteries pose, AirAsia has followed other airlines and banned transportation devices such as Segways powered by the technology from its flights.

AirAsia is the latest airline to ban all lithium battery-powered transportation devices such as hoverboards and Segways on board its flights, owing to the risk of fire.
