Weakening potash and phosphate prices hit PotashCorp revenues

Fertiliser prices once again weakened over the last quarter of the year, resulting in lower gross margins and revenues for the company both for Q4 2015 and on a y-o-y basis. While demand in some regions is anticipated to pick up this year, lower prices are expected to weigh heavily on financial performance throughout the year.

North American potash producer Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan (PotashCorp) today reported fourth quarter and full year earnings which were markedly lower than in 2014, as fertiliser prices weakened towards the end of last year.
