LKAB standardises refractory portfolio as recycling demand grows

With a greater emphasis on sustainability and cost cutting without compromising on performance, LKAB says demand for recycled refractories in Europe is growing.

Sweden's LKAB Minerals is standardising its recycled refractory material portfolio across Europe, following the launch of its European Recycling Centre in Moerdijk in the Netherlands.

The new naming structure was launched in Europe in May last year and in the UK from 1 February 2016.
