USG cost-cutting pays off as profits rise

The manufacturer of gypsum-based construction materials has implemented a Lean Six Sigma efficiency strategy, which boosted performance in 2015, notably in Q4.

US-based supplier of gypsum products, USG Corp., lauded the success of measures implemented to reduce costs as it increased its adjusted EBITDA* to $609m in 2015, the highest level since 2006.
