Imerys hits targets and avoids surprises in 2015 earnings

The French company did not complete any big ticket deals last year, but rather bought slices from its competitors and complemented its existing portfolio with further small additions – which together with positive currency effects helped Imerys deliver 8% growth in revenue.

French industrial minerals leader Imerys SA posted an 8% growth in net income for the full year 2015 to €341.5m ($387.1m*), up from €316.3m in 2014, buoyed by contributions from recently acquired business and favourable exchange rates.
