Kerneos builds second bauxite briquetting plant in south of France

The French calcium aluminate cement producer says it has made significant progress in its briquetting process, leading it to upgrade its in-house briquetting capacity, which enables it to make use of a range of bauxite grades.

France-based calcium aluminate specialist Kerneos Inc. has opened a new briquetting plant at its calcium aluminate cement (CAC) fusion facility in Fos, southern France.

The investment in the new plant, Kerneos’ second briquetting unit in France, was made in cooperation with FABEMI, a major French supplier of precast concrete.
