Tianqi hits back in Shanshan lithium standoff

The Chinese lithium compound producer has released an official statement, offering explanations for the quality issues alleged by Shanshan and criticising the battery cathode manufacturers’ “lack of respect”.

China’s Tianqi Lithium Industries Inc., a major producer of lithium products, has issued an official response to accusations that it sold poor quality lithium to Shanshan Energy Co., giving its side of the dispute.
