Oman signs port deal with Iran

The sultanate’s Port of Salalah has inked an MoU with Iran’s Shahid Rajaee and Chabahar ports in a deal that is expected to boost industrial minerals traded between the two Middle Eastern countries as well as landlocked Central Asian nations.

Oman’s Port of Salalah has signed a memorandum of understanding with Iran’s Shahid Rajaee and Chabahar ports to increase trade between the two countries, including shipments of industrial minerals.

The three ports will develop joint marketing strategies, work together to enhance trade opportunities and promote an all-water route...
