Tesla to up production five-fold by 2018

Tesla has committed to increase the number of units it produces annually to 500,000 over the next two years, which would further fuel demand for lithium batteries in a tight market, as output forecasts for 2016 are maintained and car orders are growing.
A yearly output target has been set by Tesla at 500,000
vehicles (between Model S, Model X and Model 3), to be reached
by 2018, two years earlier than previously planned. This would
