EU ceramics sector fears end of Chinese dumping duties

The European ceramics industry fears the scrapping of anti-dumping duties currently applied on Chinese imports into the bloc, if EU authorities were to change the status of the Asian country to that of a standard market economy.

Ceramics manufacturers are concerned about facing a return of aggressive competition from China in the event that the EU decides to upgrade the country’s trade status, as this would put an end to existing anti-dumping measures on Chinese imports.
