IM23: Iran calls for mineral processing upgrades

Providers of processing technology and equipment manufacturers could find a new market in Iran. The country is seeking better machinery as it opens up to the international market again and strives to achieve better mining results, delegates heard at the 23rd IM Congress in Prague.

Following the lifting of sanctions on Iran, local industrial minerals specialists said the country harbours strong opportunities for business, particularly for machinery and equipment manufacturers, as it attempts to meet global market standards.
