IM23: KMK Granit to up glassware feldspar supply

Czech feldspar miner KMK Granit is increasing the volume of feedstocks it supplies to the glass industry, as it seeks to improve returns and achieve more diversification, the company told IM.
KMK operates an open pit sodium potassium feldspar mine in
Krásno, some two hours west of Prague. The site produces
between 200,000 and 250,000 tonnes of feldspar per year, which
is taken to a nearby fully owned facility, Czech Silicat, for
first-stage processing....
