Mining resumes at ICL UK potash mine following fatal accident

Mining operations at the Boulby potash mine in northeast England, owned by Tel-Aviv-headquartered ICL, have resumed following a fatal accident last Friday. More redundancies are expected in 2017 due to depleting postash reserves at the site.

Mining activity has been resumed at ICL UK’s
Boulby potash mine in northeast England following a fatal
accident last Friday, which killed one employee, a local union
representative told IM today.
