US to impose anti-dumping duty on Chinese refrigerants

Chinese refrigerants and hydrofluorochemical blends are likely to face anti-dumping duties after the US Department of Commerce assigned dumping margins between 101.82% and 216.37%. The execution of these awaits final approval from the US International Trade Commission, expected in the first week of August.

15.00 Following investigations into alleged dumping of low-priced refrigerants from China, the US Department of Commerce has decided to impose anti-dumping duties on imports of refrigerants, hydrofluorochemical (HFC) blends and components to protect the domestic fluorochemical industry.
