Iron Mountain plans low-cost bauxite supply to China

The company is aiming to keep costs down through a straightforward shipping operation with no processing involved and predicts that the global bauxite market will recover by the time the facility reaches production.

Australian miner Iron Mountain Mining Ltd plans to set up a bauxite extraction operation in the Solomon Islands to supply Chinese alumina smelters.
