New deep sea port. which will handle refractory minerals and finished products, expect to be operational by April 2017.

Malaysia’s deep sea Samalaju dry bulk port is expected to be complete by April next year and will handle a number of dry bulk industrial minerals.

Companies intending to use the port include aluminium smelters, which will likely use refractory minerals, and photovoltaic cell manufacturers, which will import silicon....
