Chemours to sell sulphur business to Veolia

US-based Chemours is selling off its sulphur segment as part of its streamlining process which will enable the company to focus on titanium technologies, fluoroproducts and its cyanide segment.

US Wilmington, Delaware-headquartered The Chemours Co. has signed a definitive agreement with Veolia North America for the sale of its sulphur products business for $325m in cash.The transaction is expected to close in the second half...
