China’s acid-grade fluorspar exports surge in H1 2016

While acidspar exports grew in H1 2016, a decline in aluminium fluoride material shipped out of China during the first six months of the year did little to disguise the sluggish near-term outlook for Chinese fluorspar products.

Chinese exports of acid-grade fluorspar (acidspar) increased by as much as 48% year-on-year (y-o-y) in H1 2016, totaling 109,706 tonnes, the highest reported half yearly figure since H2 2014, according to customs data.
