Struggle continues for Vesuvius in H1 as income drops and debt rises

The company says it saw early signs of stabilisation in the steel and foundry markets, but its H1 financials reveal worsening sales and profits as debt increased.

UK-based refractory and steel products manufacturer Vesuvius Plc, saw its profits and sales decline further in the first half of the year, owing to continued end-market weakness.
