Nabaltec’s US ATH plant to shut for ‘9-12 months’

The temporary suspension of production at Nabaltec-owned aluminium hydroxide site in the US, due to the closure of Sherwin Alumina, will start in September and last up to one year while a way forward for the plant is negotiated.

German functional fillers producer Nabaltec AG is to halt production at its US subsidiary Nashtec LLC for up to one year following the discontinuation of supply from bankrupt producer Sherwin Alumina, which announced closure this week.
